Texas A&M's Annual Emergency Plans and Procedures Advisory

For your safety and in accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), I want to take this opportunity to highlight the plans, procedures and resources available in the event of an emergency.

The 12th Man Emergency Playbook outlines procedures on how students, faculty and staff should respond in case of an evacuation, severe weather, fire, medical emergency or personal safety emergency.

Code Maroon is the university's emergency notification system used to communicate health and safety information in an emergency. Sign up to receive alerts online and through the Code Maroon mobile app available for both Android and iOS users.

The Texas A&M University Emergency Operations Plans describe how university departments and local emergency responders will respond during a variety of emergencies on campus.

For individuals who work or take classes at Texas A&M-RELLIS, an electronic version of that plan can be accessed online. Information on how to sign up for emergency notifications specifically for A&M-RELLIS are also available.

Additional information, including location-specific plans and instructions on how to sign up for emergency notifications, is shared directly with individuals who work or take classes at off-campus instructional sites or branch campuses.

Additional resources can be found on the emergency management website and questions can be directed to emergencymanagement@tamu.edu.
